WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley fought The Undertaker in an unforgettable Hell in a Cell match in 1998. But 22 years later, he's still paying dental bills for an injury suffered during the bout.
While fans remember the match for being a nailbiter and certainly one of the best shows WWE ever put on, Foley can't forget about it because he still has to spend money working on his teeth.
The wrestling legend was recently interviewed by Metro.co.uk and discussed being chokeslammed from the top of the cell onto the mat. Fans would remember Foley, Mankind then, getting thrown off the top of the cell into an announce table being the iconic moment, yet it pales in comparison when one considers the 55-year old is still spending money to keep his teeth in order.

Foley admitted the match might have shortened his career but has no regrets.
"I don’t have any regrets - I have some small regrets about things I did later in my career. But no, I don’t regret starting that match on top of the cell," he told the publication.

‘Things did not work out like I’d have hoped. The cell collapsing when I was chokeslammed still has fallout for me! I just paid $425 to remove my bottom flipper - which are false teeth which were knocked out in that cell - and I’ll have to pay $15,000 or so to get those teeth fixed."
Only Goes To Show How Unfair WWE's Policy Is
To be honest, it's pretty unfair for Foley to have to pay for dental services after putting life and limb on the line for WWE. The promotion does not cover insurance for its wrestlers as it classes them as independent contractors, a sore point for a number of years now. While wrestlers are paid good money, not having the company cover medical insurance is still ridiculous.
Foley, though, is happy to have made the sacrifice.
"I’m still aware of that match every single day, but it really touched people," he says. "It continues to touch people who weren’t even born when the match took place, so in that case, no regrets about the battles I had in the cell."
